What is the Trainer Bio Database?
The Trainer Bio Database is a place where CO-TOP trainers who are willing to travel, who want to teach more CO-TOP Academies in other districts, and who have a strong history of excellent evaluations can be found.
Who would look at it?
The CO-TOP coordinator or lead person from a CO-TOP Coalition district is eligible to look for a trainer who would like to provide training in their district.
Why would a CO-TOP coordinator look for a trainer here?
While all Colorado CO-TOP Courses must be set up through The PAR²A Center, districts are responsible for identifying their trainers before setting the class up. Sometimes districts lack a trainer on a particular topic – say in math or reading. Or a district may not have anyone to teach one of the bilingual academies.
How do CO-TOP Lead persons find trainers using this database?
There are several ways that CO-TOP coordinators or lead persons might search our database. They might use the map feature to find people willing to travel to their region or district. Or they might, search by topic area to find a trainer that can provide a certain academy.
What’s in it for me?
CO-TOP Trainers are under no obligation to participate in the Trainer Bio Database. However, if you want to do more training and are willing to travel, you may earn additional money and experience the fun of training in other districts you may add your information to the database.
What do I have to do to add my information?
There is a simple form that you will complete. The information from the Trainer
Bio Form is added to a database that resides on the same
server as this website and can be searched.
What risks do I assume by putting my information on the Trainer Bio Database?
The PAR²A Center and the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center cannot assure the security of the information you post in this database.
